The instructors training course at the Swiss Ski School of Geneva

The Swiss Ski School of Geneva only hires instructors holding recognised certifications to teach the various ski and snowboard courses. The Swiss Ski School of Geneva accompanies skiers and snowboarders until they obtain a recognised certification.

Depending on your level and age, the Swiss Ski School of Geneva offers 2 different courses (ski or snowboard):

The ZA basic course: this is the first level of the Swiss Snowsports (umbrella association of Swiss ski schools) professional course. Immediately after completing the ZA basic course, the Swiss Ski School of Geneva offers the successful candidates the opportunity to start teaching.
Teachers Academy : training course for skiers/snowboarders who do not have the required age or level to take the ZA basic course. At the end of the course, you can start at the Swiss Ski School of Geneva as an assistant monitor.

Dates and prices

The price includes the ski/snowboard lessons, transportation from Geneva, ski-pass, lunch and 1 official teaching manual. Family discount/quantity: -10% (discounts cannot be cumulated)

Are you 18 or over and already have a good technical level?

The Swiss Ski School of Geneva also organises the ZA basic course, which is the first level of the professional training programme and enables students to teach.

Equipment rental is not included.

For your safety: helmets are mandatory.

Registration deadline

7 days before the beginning of the course

It is possible to enrol after the deadline with an additional fee of 5% of the total cost (subject to availability).

Don't forget to take out the cancellation insurance!

Price: 5.75% of the total cost

From 29 days before the first course/outing (except private courses), NO REFUND (even in case of illness, accident or force majeure) is allowed if the cancellation insurance is not taken out at the booking.
